The Underground Circus 100
The Underground Circus 100 is an ultramarathon event held on July 4, 2026, in Kennesaw, Georgia. The course uses the Kennesaw Mountain trail and surrounding areas, featuring mixed surfaces of trail, gravel road, and asphalt. The route is described as relatively flat with a few small inclines.
Participants can choose from several race formats: 100 miles, 50 miles, 24 hours, 12 hours, and 6 hours. The event is noted for having no DNF (Did Not Finish); runners can change distances during the race. The course is an 8-mile out-and-back loop from the start area to convenience stores.
Aid stations are provided with cups, sports drink, and snacks. Runners are advised to bring their own items if they have a restricted diet. The race director and volunteers will be present throughout the event. Pacers are allowed for the 6- and 12-hour events. Headlamps or reflective gear are required for night running.
All proceeds from the event go to a non-profit helping the homeless. Participants are encouraged to donate socks, underwear, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Finishers of the 100-mile race receive a customized brass buckle. Finishers of the 50-mile and shorter distances receive other awards, and all participants get a certificate.
Volunteers receive race swag and free entry to the next year's event. Packet pick-up begins at 6:00 AM on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
