The Steve Hammond Homebound Hustle is the 5th annual fundraising run and walk hosted by Family Promise of Morris County on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The event supports efforts to end homelessness and increase housing stability in Morris County. Race options include:
- 5K Run
- 1-Mile Walk
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk
The registration fee for each event is $35. The first 200 registrants receive an event t-shirt. Registration closes on October 18, 2025. The event includes an awards ceremony for the top three finishers by age group and post-race refreshments.
Location and logistics
The event takes place in Central Park of Morris County at 1 Gov. Chris Christie Drive in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. Upon entering the park, participants are asked to follow event signage.
