The Oldman Backyard Ultra

The Oldman Backyard Ultra is a unique endurance running event held near the Oldman River in Lethbridge, Alberta, featuring a 6.7 km loop course through rolling coulees. As one of Alberta's first Backyard Ultras and a 2026 Silver Ticket event in Canada, it challenges runners to complete laps every hour on the hour until only one remains. Participants can run 1, 5, 10, or 50 laps, with the pace flexible as long as each loop is finished within the hour.
