The Oldman Backyard Ultra is a Backyard Ultra event held in Lethbridge, AB, beside the Oldman River among rolling coulees. The event uses a 6.7 km loop and follows standard backyard-ultra rules: runners begin each loop on the hour and must complete the loop within one hour to be eligible to start the next loop. The event is listed as one of six silver ticket events in Canada for 2026 and serves as a qualifying backyard-ultra event. The final remaining runner earns auto placement on Team Canada at the designated national event.

The event provides an aid station and other on-course provisions. It is organized as a non-profit with all proceeds and donations directed to Youth One, a Lethbridge youth and family centre. For every $1,500 raised through the event, one youth’s annual participation costs are covered; the event seeks to fulfill 460 such individual sponsorships.
