The Ivy Trek Ultra

The Ivy Trek Ultra : Quitman, Mississippi

The Ivy Trek Ultra is scheduled for September 26, 2026, at Clarkco State Park in Quitman, MS. The event offers multiple trail distances and uses a looped course that passes by ponds, bridges, and views of Ivy Lake.

• 12.5K

The course is based on a 7.78 mile loop. Runners complete multiple laps to cover each distance (50K = four laps, 25K = two laps, 12.5K = one lap). Trails are mainly double track with some single track; several bridges and a feature called Gold Fish Pond are on the route. All races begin and end at Pavilion 2 at Clarkco State Park.

There is one aid station located on the loop and the start/finish area also serves as an aid station. Participants must bring a personal water container; coolers are provided for refilling. RFID chip timing will record finish and split times, and a results kiosk will provide printouts. The overall course time limit is 10 hours; participants who have not started a final loop by the posted cutoff will be recorded at the shorter distance.

Each finisher receives a custom medal and an event shirt. Awards are given by overall place and by age categories for each distance. Overnight camping and cabin fees at the park are not included with entry; park gate fees are included. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
