Quitman, United States • 26 Sep 2026

Event overview

The Ivy Trek Ultra is a trail race held at Clarkco State Park in Mississippi. Distances offered are:

  • 50K
  • 25K
  • 12.5K

The course is based on a 7.78 mile loop. Runners complete multiple loops: the 50K is four loops, the 25K is two loops, and the 12.5K is one loop. Park gate fees are included in the entry; overnight camping, cabins and camper pad fees are not.

Course and logistics

The trail surface is mostly double track with some single track. The course includes several bridges, the Gold Fish Pond, and views of Ivy Lake. There is space near the start/split/finish area for parking, tents and picnic blankets. Packet pickup is held the day before the race at Pavilion #2; race bags are available on race morning near the start area. All participants must bring a personal water container; coolers will be provided for refills. There is one aid station on the loop plus the start/finish area. Littering can result in disqualification.

Timing, results and awards

Timing is by RFID chip with split times. A results kiosk will provide printouts after finishing. All participants must finish within a 10 hour limit; runners who cannot start a final loop in time may be asked to stop and can be listed as 25K finishers if they completed at least two loops. Each distance awards top three male and female finishers and age group awards for Masters, Grand Masters and Sr Masters. Refunds and deferrals are not offered except for military deferrals with orders. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
