The Honoring Our Heroes 4th Annual 5K & 2 Mile Ruck is scheduled for March 6, 2026, in Meridian, MS at Camp Meridale (1510 Camp Meridale Rd., Meridian, MS 39301). Course and purpose

The event takes place on Camp Meridale, a 170-acre site with rolling hills, varied terrain and natural springs that hosts monthly and year-round programs. The 5K and ruck are described as all-terrain courses with trails through woods, hills and uneven ground rather than a road run. The event’s stated purpose is to raise awareness of suicide and PTSD and to support the mission to "Heal the Hidden Wounds of War."
