The State Games of Mississippi Trail Race takes place on June 27, 2026, at Bonita Lakes - Boat Ramp on the Upper Lake in Meridian, Mississippi (1 Bonita Reservoir Road, Meridian, MS 39301). The event is a trail run held off-road on the park trails. The course distance is 4.6 mi. The published entry fee is $20. Online registration is recommended by June 20 to ensure correct t-shirt size; on-site registration is available the day of the event from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m., with t-shirt sizes not guaranteed for same-day registrants.

Divisions and awards

Age divisions are offered for both male and female competitors in the following groups: 13 & under; 14-16; 17-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; and 80+. Medals for Gold, Silver, and Bronze will be presented to the first, second, and third place finishers in each age group for each gender.
