The Howling Ghost Trail Race takes place on September 26, 2026 at Springwater Conservation Area in Aylmer, Ontario. The event uses an 8 km loop that participants run one, two, or three times depending on their chosen distance.

The night race requires a headlamp. Day and night races can be combined through Day/Night options. All events are electronically timed with a timing chip attached to the bib.
There is an aid station near the start/finish/interloop area and an on-course hydration station. Aid is available every 8 km. This is a cupless event, so runners must bring their own cup or bottle. Public washrooms are located at the start/finish area.
Registration includes park admission. Day race entrants receive a combed cotton long sleeve tee and night race entrants receive a toque. Every finisher receives a custom medal, with different colours for day and night. Race photos are provided free to download. Awards are given to top finishers in each gender category when there are at least three runners in that category. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to the Children's Health Foundation.
