The Hoot'n Bulldog Track Ultra

The Hoot'n Bulldog Track Ultra is a timed track event held January 29 to 31, 2027, at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Florida. The event offers multiple timed race options and uses a USATF sanctioned, certified course so performances are records eligible.

The event offers the following race durations:

  • The Frenchie - 6 hour race
  • The Bulldog - 12 hour race
  • The Little Hoot - 24 hour race
  • The Big Hoot - 48 hour race

The venue is a Class 2 internationally certified track and field facility with 24 hour access to locker rooms and bathrooms, shaded bleachers, and ample parking. Runners and crew may camp in the infield and set up personal aid or crew stations; an event aid station will provide standard supplies and hot food for 24 and 48 hour participants. Stadium bathrooms will be open.

Pacers are not permitted on the track, except for limited pacers for participants under 14 with advance approval by the race director. Directions on the track will change every four hours. Team entries are available for the 24 and 48 hour races; scoring combines the distances of the top three runners on each team and divisions include all men, all women, and mixed. All finishers receive medals, with additional buckles for 100 and 200 mile completions and awards for top male and top female in each event. All entrants receive a custom Hoot'n Bulldog Boco hat.

Organizers will accept non perishable food donations for a local soup kitchen and blankets, towels, and unopened bags of dog food for Palm Beach Animal Care and Control. The event carries Trail Sisters Approved designations and related policies for equitable podiums and participant support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
