The Hoot'n Bulldog Track Ultra

The Hoot'n Bulldog Track Ultra is a timed track event at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Florida. The event offers multiple timed options and is sanctioned by USATF with a certified course, so performances are records eligible.

Available race options include:

  • The Big Hoot, 48 hour
  • The Little Hoot, 24 hour
  • The Bulldog, 12 hour
  • The Frenchie, 6 hour

Participants and their crews may camp in the infield and set up personal aid or crew stations. The event will provide an aid station with food and drink, and hot food service for 24 hour and 48 hour participants. Stadium bathrooms and 24 hour access to locker rooms are available. Track direction will change every 4 hours. Pacers are not permitted for general participants; limited pacers for runners under 14 are allowed with prior approval.

New for 2027, 24 hour and 48 hour races include team divisions. Team scoring uses the combined distances of the top three runners; divisions include all men, all women, and mixed. Awards and recognition include finisher medals for each event, buckles for 100 and 200 mile completions, and top male and top female prizes in each race.

The event is Trail Sisters approved and lists measures for women participants such as equal podiums and menstrual products at aid stations. Donations of non perishable food, blankets, towels, and unopened dog food will be collected for local charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
