The Hoot'n Bulldog Track Ultra is a multi-day track event held at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Florida. The event offers timed races on a certified course and is sanctioned by USATF, so performances are eligible for records when requirements are met.
Timed race options include:
- 48 hour The Big Hoot
- 24 hour The Little Hoot
- 12 hour The Bulldog
- 6 hour The Frenchie
The event allows runners and their crew to camp in the infield and set up personal aid stations. Organizers provide an on-site aid station with typical aid station food and drinks, and hot food will be available for participants in the 24 and 48 hour races. Stadium locker rooms and bathrooms will be open, and shaded bleachers and ample parking are available at the venue.
Pacers are not permitted on the track, with a limited exception for participants under the age of 14 subject to approval by the race director. Direction on the track will change every four hours.
New for 2027, team entries are available for the 24 and 48 hour races; team scoring uses the combined distances of the top three runners. Awards include finisher medals, buckles for 100 and 200 mile completions, and prizes for top male and top female in each event. All runners will receive a custom event hat. The event is Trail Sisters Approved and includes women’s specific provisions at aid stations. Donations of non perishable food, blankets, towels, and unopened dog food will be accepted for local charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
