The Hoot'n Bulldog Track Ultra
The Hoot'n Bulldog Track Ultra is a multi-day track ultramarathon held January 29 to 31, 2027 at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Florida. The event offers timed track races that run for fixed durations, giving participants a choice of multiple timed distances.
- 6 hour The Frenchie
- 12 hour The Bulldog
- 24 hour The Little Hoot
- 48 hour The Big Hoot
The race is sanctioned by USATF and the course is certified, so performances are records-eligible. The Ansin Sports Complex features a Class 2 internationally certified track, 24 hour access to locker rooms and bathroom facilities, shaded bleachers, ample parking, and infield space for tents and crew setups.
Participants may camp in the infield and set up personal aid or crew stations. An event aid station will provide standard aid station food and drink, with hot food available for 24 hour and 48 hour participants. Pacers are not permitted on the track except for limited, approved pacing for runners under age 14. Directions on the track will change every four hours.
New for 2027, 24 hour and 48 hour races offer team entries scored by the combined distances of the top three runners; team divisions include all men, all women, and mixed. Awards include finisher medals, buckles for 100 and 200 mile completers, and top male and top female prizes. All runners will receive a custom Hoot'n Bulldog Boco gear hat. The event accepts donations of non perishable food, blankets, towels, and unopened bags of dog food for local charities. This race is Trail Sisters Approved and includes women focused amenities and policies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
