Rock the Climb : 2nd Annual
Rock the Climb is a memorial stair climb held at the Hard Rock Guitar Hotel in Hollywood, Florida on September 11, 2026. The event honors the heroes lost on September 11, 2001, and raises funds for the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund and the Firefighters Benevolent of Davie. It is hosted by the Firefighters Benevolent of Davie in partnership with the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Participants may take part as firefighters in full turnout gear, firefighters in athletic wear, or members of the general public. The event offers three climb options:
- 110 story climb
- 72 story climb
- 36 story climb
Each registered participant receives a race package that includes a personalized race bib with an RFID timing chip and an event dri-fit shirt. Finishers receive a commemorative medal and a swag bag. The event provides refreshments at the conclusion of the climb.
Full gear is defined as helmet, bunker jacket, and pants. The event frames the climbs as acts of remembrance and solidarity by retracing stair routes to acknowledge first responder sacrifice.
