Lost in Miami Ultra

Palmetto Bay, United States • 10 Jan 2026

Event overview

Lost in Miami is a fixed-time urban ultra taking place on January 10, 2026. Runners have 18 hours to move through Miami and visit required landmarks. There is no set route and no loops; participants choose their own path from a list of landmarks that is provided the day before the event. Rankings are based on the most miles accumulated during the allotted time. The event is limited to 50 runners. Start and finish are at Hero Martial Arts, 17049 S. Dixie Hwy., Palmetto Bay, FL 33157.

The 18-hour records listed for previous editions are 86.58 miles (men, 2025) and 84.05 miles (women, 2025). Records for landmarks visited in 2025 are 48 landmarks (men) and 38 landmarks (women).

Rules and logistics

Participants must use a GPS tracker to prove miles at the finish. Runners must take a selfie at each landmark and show the photos at the finish to officially register their miles. To be eligible for podium awards, runners must reach all required landmarks and return to the finish on foot; returning by vehicle disqualifies a runner from podium eligibility. All miles recorded within the 18-hour limit count toward the ranking.

The organizer provides a race t-shirt, additional event swag, and a finisher medal. The event offers a one-time deferral or credit instead of refunds for participants who cannot attend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
