The Guzzler Ultra
The Guzzler Ultra is a multi-distance trail running event held at Mount Coot-Tha, Brisbane, organised by Those Guys Events. The courses are almost entirely on singletrack and park trails, and the routes pass Brisbane’s oldest reservoirs in the order they were built. Local trail running groups provide support on course.
The event offers multiple race distances with recorded elevation gain and reservoir counts:
- 105 km, 4618 m elevation gain, visits 3 reservoirs
- 52 km, 2102 m elevation gain, visits 2 reservoirs
- 21 km, 711 m elevation gain, visits 1 reservoir
- 10 km, 399 m elevation gain, visits 1 reservoir
The 100 km and 50 km races are listed as qualifying events for larger trail series. The 50 km and 100 km distances are also recognised for Six Foot Track qualification.
