The Gauntlet Mud Run

The Gauntlet Mud Run is an obstacle course event held at Chenoweth Trails in Greenville, Ohio. The course utilizes natural terrain and military-inspired obstacles, including walls for climbing, ropes for swinging, and mud crawls. All event proceeds support the Light Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on youth programs.

The event offers the following distances:

  • 3.1 Miles (5k Trail Run with multiple start waves)
  • Kids Race (Specific obstacle course for children ages 5 to 12)

The main course is open to participants aged 13 and older, while children aged 5 to 12 may participate in the dedicated Kids Race. Registered adults are permitted to run with their children in the youth event. For the adult categories, recognition is provided for the top two male and female finishers in age groups ranging from 13 to 69.

On-site amenities include free parking and a free bag check service located at registration. The venue features a Kids Zone with games and face painting, as well as a food and beverage area. Participants receive a finisher's medal and a drink token. Water stations are positioned at the midway point and the finish line.
