Runners receive a race bib, a t-shirt, a finisher's medal, and other race goodies. Timing is provided by chip. Race photos are included. Aid stations are located every 5 to 8 km, offering typical snacks and drinks. The event is cup-less, so runners must carry their own container.

The race is held in memory of Paul Turkstra and supports Melanoma Canada. An entrance fee to the conservation area applies for crew and spectators. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
