Sulphur Springs Trail Race 2026

The event takes place Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area in the City of Hamilton, Ontario. Registration opens October 15 at 9 am E.S.T. The race is presented by the Burlington Runners Club, is Athletics Ontario sanctioned, and is a Western States Endurance Run qualifying event. The trail system has hosted this Burlington Runners Club event since 1992; organizers describe it as the oldest running ultramarathon in Canada.

Course and distances

The course uses a 20K loop that includes groomed trail and single-track sections. Each loop includes rolling hills plus steep climbs and descents and provides over 500 m of elevation gain.
