The Sulphur Springs Trail Race 2026 is scheduled for Saturday May 23rd and Sunday May 24th. The weekend includes multiple individual races and two team relays. The event is Athletics Ontario sanctioned and is listed as a Western States Endurance Run (WSER) qualifying race. The race is presented by the Burlington Runners Club and race management for 2026 is Straw Dog Racing.

Course

The main race uses a 20K loop through the Dundas Valley Conservation Area in the City of Hamilton (formerly the Town of Ancaster), located on the Niagara Escarpment. The loop combines groomed trail and single track with rolling hills plus steep climbs and descents. Each 20K loop provides over 500 m of elevation gain. The course description notes natural springs and streams and the presence of local wildlife. There is a designated crew tent area on each loop for regrouping, refueling, and support. The trail system has hosted the Burlington Runners Club event since 1992 and has been used for more than 33 years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
