The Fort 20 - Felixstowe, Suffolk

The Fort 20 is a looped trail event held on 4 October 2026 that starts and finishes within the walls of Landguard Fort on the Suffolk peninsula. The event is organised by Coastal Trail Runners, is licensed by the TRA and is held under UK Athletics rules.

The course is a 20 mile mixed-surface trail. In collaboration with English Heritage the route crosses two nature reserves, two river estuaries and the Port. The route is fully marked and a .gpx file is provided. On-course support includes three water/snack stations, a drop bag facility and generous cut-offs; the event uses a six hour cut-off. Participants receive a long-sleeve T-shirt and a race medal.

Entries open on 1 November 2025 and close on 19 September 2026. Entry is managed through SiEntries and requires registration or login. Entry categories and contemporary fees are listed as affiliated and unaffiliated rates with a price change noted from 1 April 2026. As required by UK Athletics rules, participants must be 18 years of age or older on race day.
