The Fort 20 takes place on Sunday 4 October 2026 at Landguard Fort, View Point Road, Felixstowe, Suffolk, IP11 3TW. The event is organised by Coastal Trail Runners and is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics rules. Participants must be 18 years of age or older on race day.

The course is a looped mixed-trail route that starts and finishes within the walls of Landguard Fort. The route crosses two nature reserves, two river estuaries and the Port. The advertised distance is 20 mile.

The route is fully marked and a .gpx file is available. There is a 6 hour cut-off for completing the course. On-course provisions include three water/snack stations and a drop-bag facility. Entry includes a long-sleeve T-shirt and a race medal. Entries open 1 November 2025 and close 19 September 2026. Entry fees are listed as: affiliated £35 (rising to £40 from 01/04/2026) and unaffiliated £37 (rising to £42 from 01/04/2026).
