The Fort 20 is a looped trail race held on Sunday 4 October 2026 at Landguard Fort, View Point Road, Felixstowe, Suffolk (IP11 3TW). The route starts and finishes within the walls of the 18th Century Landguard Fort and crosses two nature reserves, two river estuaries and the Port. The course is described as mixed trail and is fully marked; a .gpx file is available. The main distance is 20-mile.

Logistics and entries

The event is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics rules. Participants must be 18 years of age or older on race day. There is a 6 hour cut-off. On-course support includes three water/snack stations and a drop-bag facility. A quality long-sleeve T-shirt and a race medal are included for participants. Entries open 1 November 2025 and close 19 September 2026. Entry fees listed are: affiliated £35 (rising to £40 from 1 April 2026) and unaffiliated £37 (rising to £42 from 1 April 2026).
