The Florida Run at Colt Creek State Park

The Florida Run takes place on April 17, 2027 at Colt Creek State Park, 16000 State Rd. 471, Lakeland, FL. The event stages trail races on well-marked, smooth runnable paths through pine woods and alongside lakes, with generally flat terrain and measurable elevation gain by distance.

Distances offered:

• 5K, 3.18 miles, 104 ft, 1 aid station
• 10K, 6.28 miles, 180 ft, 2 aid stations, 1 restroom
• Half Marathon, 13.13 miles, 330 ft, 5 aid stations, nutrition at miles 5, 7.5, 10

All races are chip timed. Every participant receives a finisher medal, a choice of race swag item, and post-race snacks. Awards are presented to overall and age group winners in each distance.

Packet pick-up is scheduled with a Friday afternoon session and a Saturday morning session prior to race day. A Run Club Competition is included, with fastest team awards for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, plus a Get Up and Go Award for the largest team.

Parking passes are required and fees go directly to Colt Creek State Park; passes are single-use and an annual Florida State Parks pass is available for purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
