The Florida Run at Colt Creek State Park

The Florida Run takes place on April 17, 2027, at Colt Creek State Park, 16000 State Rd. 471, Lakeland, FL 33809. The event offers trail races through pine woods with flat, runnable trails and lake views. The course is described as well-marked and professionally managed.

Available distances:

• Half Marathon, 13.13 miles; 330 ft elevation gain; 5 aid stations; 3 restrooms.
• 10K, 6.28 miles; 180 ft elevation gain; 2 aid stations; 1 restroom.
• 5K, 3.18 miles; 104 ft elevation gain; 1 aid station.

All races use professional chip timing. Every participant receives a finisher medal, a choice of race swag item, and post-race snacks. Awards are presented to overall and age group winners in each distance. Nutrition is provided on the Half Marathon course at miles 5, 7.5, and 10.

Packet pick-up is scheduled Friday 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM and Saturday 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM. Registration opens May 20, 2026, and closes July 20, 2026. Registration fees listed for each event are $70.00 for the Half Marathon, $46.00 for the 10K, and $35.00 for the 5K. A Run Club Competition includes fastest team awards in each distance and a Get Up & Go Award for the largest team.
