The 2026 ENDURrun Prelim
The ENDURrun Prelim is a multi-stage running event consisting of 6 stages held over 6 days, covering a total distance of 60 km. Located in the Waterloo region of Ontario, the event tests various disciplines, including road racing, cross-country, technical trail running, and track racing. The format features mass starts, a time trial, and heats organized by cumulative time.
Participants navigate different terrains and locations across Conestogo, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Wilmot. The event serves as a standalone challenge or a training camp to boost fitness levels. Fluid stations providing water and Gatorade are positioned along the marked courses, with limited post-race refreshments available after each stage.
The scheduled distances and formats include:
- 10 km road race (2 loops)
- 7.5 km time trial (out and back)
- 5 mile cross-country run (3 loops)
- 10.4 km technical trail run (4 loops)
- 3 km track race (7.5 laps)
- 21.1 km half marathon (3 loops)
Total registration is capped at 75 participants. A pre-race meeting and kit pick-up are held prior to the first stage, which includes an optional 2-5 km prologue group run. All registered participants receive a technical t-shirt, and all finishers are awarded a medal. Leader bibs are presented after each stage to the open and masters cumulative time leaders.
