Event Overview

The Champion of Trees 10K is a running event held at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. The course is a USATF-certified 10 km route along the rolling East Side trails within the arboretum.

Race Day Details

Participants can choose from the following events:

A post-race party takes place in Arbor Court with live music and entertainment. Participants in the on-site races receive a branded T-shirt, an official race bib with ChronoTrack timing, post-race recovery food and water, and a beer.

A fundraising option is available where participants pledge a minimum of $250. This provides complimentary registration, four daytime guest passes to the arboretum, a special race bib, a fundraiser medal, and post-race coffee and snacks at a dedicated tent.

The virtual event can be completed anytime between April 10-17, either at the arboretum with a provided admission pass or on a local trail. Virtual participants receive an official race bib and event apparel mailed to them.
