Chauncey's 4 at The Farm
Chauncey's 4 at The Farm is a 4-mile trail run and walk held at the historic St James Farm in Warrenville, Illinois. This event marks the first race in a four-part trail series. The course consists of a single loop measuring approximately 4.1 miles, featuring a mix of wide limestone paths and grass or wooded trail sections.
Participants navigate the gently rolling terrain of the St James property. The grass and wooded portions of the course include natural conditions such as uneven ground, exposed roots, rocks, and potential muddy areas. The route includes a water station located near the 2.3-mile mark.
Registered participants receive a pullover long-sleeve hoodie, with sizes guaranteed for those who register by certain deadlines. The event includes competitive awards for the following categories:
- Overall Male and Female Champions
- 1st and 2nd place finishers in age groups from 13 and under to 70 and over
All entrants are automatically included in a prize raffle held during the race. Results are provided via a QR code on the race bib. Participants have the option to register for this individual race or for the entire four-event series, which includes three additional trail races held in St Charles, Hoffman Estates, and Elgin later in the year.
The venue, St James Farm, is a former equestrian estate and dairy farm that is now part of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. It features several historic structures dating back to the late 1800s. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
