The Buck Fifty in Chillicothe, Ohio

The Buck Fifty is a relay race held in Chillicothe, Ohio over Friday and Saturday, April 16 and 17, 2027. The event runs as a team relay with staggered group starts and a registration cap set at 150 teams; open registration closes at midnight on February 1 or when the team limit is reached.

The course incorporates miles of trail running with hills, peaks and valleys. The terrain is described as varied and includes off road sections that engage different muscle groups and senses. A race guidebook and past results are available for reference.

Event proceeds support teen drug prevention. All race profits fund eight local high school chapters of the Drug Free Clubs of America program. These voluntary chapters are locally branded M.A.D.E., short for My Attitude Determines Everything, and report average enrollment above 50 percent.

The Buck Fifty also lists volunteer opportunities and community partners. Results from previous years and a downloadable guidebook are provided for participants and supporters. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
