The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race
Scheduled for March 20, 2027 in Flovilla, GA, this trail event offers multiple distances on a 12.5 mile loop through gently rolling single track. The course design includes two well stocked aid stations and easy crew access.
Distances
- 100 Mile: eight laps of the 12.5 mile loop, roughly 9000 feet of gain total.
- 50 Mile
- 12.5 Mile
The 12.5 mile loop features about 1000 feet of gain per lap and aid stations that provide normal snacks and drinks plus hot food in the evening. The 50 mile and 12.5 mile fields are capped at 50 runners each to limit trail and parking congestion. There is no hard cutoff for the 50 mile race; runners may finish within the overall event timeframe.
Entry rules require completion of an official 50K race or at least 50 miles on the Bootlegger course before registering. Refunds are available at 100% or as a deferral until three months before the race; no refunds or deferrals after that point.
The event is a Western States qualifying race for 2027. Any finisher of the 2027 Bootlegger 100 who is present at the raffle will be eligible for a drawing for a 2028 Western States entry, and runners must register before October 1, 2026 to be included. Organizer: Revolution Running Co. The race benefits Dauset Trails Nature Center and Indian Springs State Park. All participants receive event apparel and gear; 100 mile finishers earn a buckle and long distance accomplishments may earn an embroidered jacket.
