The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race
The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race takes place in Flovilla, Georgia, utilizing the trails of the Dauset Trails Nature Center and Indian Springs State Park. The event is organized by Revolution Running Co. and features a course primarily composed of rolling single-track trails.
Participants compete on a 12.5-mile loop, which runners in the 100-mile distance must complete eight times. The full course offers approximately 9,000 feet of elevation gain, averaging just over 1,000 feet per loop. The event serves as a qualifying race for the Western States Endurance Run. In addition to the main distance, other options are available:
- 100 Mile
- 50 Mile
- 12.5 Mile
The course includes two fully stocked aid stations per loop providing standard snacks, drinks, and hot food during the evening hours. Crew access is available at these points. Registration for the 100-mile event requires prior completion of at least one official 50k race or having finished 50 miles on the Bootlegger course previously.
Participants receive a shirt and a backpack upon registration. Finishers of the 100-mile race earn a belt buckle, while finishers of the other distances receive medals. A special embroidered jacket is awarded to individuals who accumulate a total of 400 miles across multiple years or distances at this event.
