The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race

The Bootlegger is the fifth running of a trail event presented by Revolution Running in Flovilla, GA at 678 Lake Clark Rd. The event benefits Dauset Trails Nature Center and Indian Springs State Park and offers multiple race distances on a looped course.

The course is a 12.5-mile loop of gently rolling single track with roughly 9,000 feet of total elevation gain for the 100 mile distance, averaging just over 1,000 feet per loop. The loop includes two aid stations that are described as fully stocked; aid stations offer typical snacks and drinks plus hot food in the evening. The course layout allows for crew access.

Entry and qualification notes are specific. Everyone who registers must have completed an official 50K race or have completed at least 50 miles on the Bootlegger course before signing up. The 50 mile and 12.5 mile fields are capped at 50 runners each. All registered participants receive event apparel and items; 100 mile finishers receive a buckle. A GPX file is available for download and can be imported to Garmin, uploaded to apps that work with Apple Watch, or used with COROS and Suunto apps.

Refund policy: a full refund or deferral is available up to three months before the race; no refunds or deferrals are issued after that point.

The 2027 Bootlegger 100 is a Western States qualifier. To be eligible for the finisher raffle for a Western States entry, a runner must have registered before October 1, 2026, finish the 2027 Bootlegger 100, and be present at the raffle.
