The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race

The Bootlegger is presented by Revolution Running Co. in Flovilla, GA, and in 2027 will be held as the fifth running of the event. The race uses a 12.5 mile loop on gently rolling single track with easy crew access.

Distances offered:

  • 100 Mile
  • 50 Mile
  • 12.5 Mile

The 100 mile distance is eight repeats of the 12.5 mile loop, totaling roughly 9,000 feet of elevation gain, about a little over 1,000 feet per loop. The course features two well stocked aid stations. Aid stations provide typical snacks and drinks, with hot food available in the evening.

Entry requirements state that every registrant must have completed an official 50K race or must have completed at least 50 miles on the Bootlegger course before signing up. The event is capped for the 50 mile and 12.5 mile races at 50 runners each to reduce trail and parking congestion. Registration closes March 10 at 11:59 PM ET. Refunds or deferrals are available at 100% until three months before the race; none are offered after that point.

All participants receive event apparel and gear; 100 mile finishers earn a buckle, and those who accumulate 400 miles across race distances receive an embroidered jacket. The race benefits Dauset Trails Nature Center and Indian Springs State Park. A GPX route file is provided for common GPS devices. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
