The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race
The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race is set for March 20, 2027 in Flovilla, GA and is organized by Revolution Running Co. This is the fifth running of the event. The course is a gently rolling single track made up of a 12.5-mile loop that 100 mile runners complete eight times, with roughly 9,000 feet of total elevation gain across the full distance.
There are two well stocked aid stations on the loop and the course was designed with easy crew access. Aid stations will offer normal snacks and drinks and hot food in the evening. A GPX file is provided for navigation and can be used with common devices and apps.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 100 Mile
- 50 Mile
- 12.5 Mile
All entrants receive a shirt and a BOCO backpack; 100 mile finishers receive a buckle. The 50 mile and 12.5 mile fields are each capped at 50 runners to limit trail and parking congestion. The race benefits Dauset Trails Nature Center and Indian Springs State Park.
This event is a Western States qualifier for 2027. Finishers of the 2027 Bootlegger 100 will be entered in a raffle for a 2028 Western States entry provided they complete the race and are present at the raffle.
