The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race

Jackson, United States • 28 Mar 2026

Event Overview

This is the fourth edition of the Bootlegger trail race, presented by Revolution Running. The event takes place in Flovilla, Georgia.

Distances

The event offers multiple race distances on a looped course:

  • 100 Mile
  • 50 Mile Race
  • Sunday 12 Mile Race

Course and Support

All races use the same 12.5-mile loop of gently rolling single-track trails. Runners on the 100-mile distance complete the loop eight times, the 50-mile race four times, and the 12-mile race once. There are two aid stations per loop, which are described as well-stocked. Crew access is noted as easy. In the evening, hot food like soup, hotdogs, and grilled cheese is available.

Participant Benefits

All runners receive a shirt and a backpack. All finishers receive a medal. Finishers of the 100-mile race receive a buckle. The race benefits Dauset Trails Nature Center and Indian Springs State Park.

Additional Information

The organizers are pursuing Western States 100 qualification status for the 100-mile race, contingent on reaching 100 finishers in 2026. Separate sponsor entries for the Western States 100 in 2027 and 2028 will be raffled among eligible Bootlegger finishers who also meet other criteria. Several other incentives are offered, including a $250 raffle for early registrants who finish the 100-mile race, an additional hat for participants who run both a Huff N Puff race in January and a Bootlegger race, and an embroidered jacket for anyone who completes 400 miles across the event's race distances. A full refund or deferral is available until December 5, 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
