The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race

The Bootlegger is a 100 mile trail race held in Flovilla, GA and presented by Revolution Running. This is the fifth running of the event. The course is a 12.5 mile loop that 100 mile entrants complete eight times. The loop follows gently rolling single track and accumulates roughly 9,000 feet of gain overall, a little over 1,000 feet per loop.

There are two well stocked aid stations on course and organizers state there is easy crew access. Aid stations offer typical snacks and drinks and hot food in the evening. All entrants receive a shirt and a BOCO backpack, and all 100 mile finishers receive a buckle. Participants who accumulate 400 miles across any race distances will receive an embroidered jacket with their name.

Qualification rules require completion of any official 50K race or at least 50 miles on the Bootlegger course before registering. The event is a Western States qualifying race for 2027 and organizers will raffle an entry into the 2028 Western States among those who finish the 2027 Bootlegger and are present at the raffle. The race benefits Dauset Trails Nature Center and Indian Springs State Park. A GPX file for the course is provided for device import. Registration closes Wed, Mar 10 at 11:59 PM ET.
