The Huff N' Puff Trail Races take place in Jackson, GA, at 360 Mount Vernon Church Rd. The event includes the following distances:

  • Marathon
  • 1/2 Marathon
  • 5K

All runners receive a lightweight hoodie for 2026 entries and a finishers medal. First place overall male and female awards will be given for each distance. There are no age group awards. Proceeds benefit Dauset Trails.

Course and race logistics

The marathon and 1/2 marathon use the same trail course; the marathon is the same loop run twice. Trails are mostly single track with rolling hills, roots, rocks, and a few technical sections. The route runs beside creeks and may pass through areas with local wildlife. The half marathon has one aid station that is passed at mile 4 and mile 9.5. The marathon has two aid stations passed at miles 4, 9.5, 13.1, 17, and 23. All marathon and half marathon runners are required to carry a hand held or hydration pack. This is a cupless race. The marathon has a 9-hour time limit. Crew access and a drop-bag option are available at the marathon halfway point. Post-race items include warm food and beverages.
