Parts of the route run beside creeks and pass through wooded areas. The half marathon has one aid station that is passed at about mile 4 and again at about mile 9.5. The marathon is served at about mile 4, 9.5, 13.1, 17, and 23 by two separate aid stations. Marathon and half participants are required to carry a hand-held bottle or hydration pack. The race is cupless. Marathon time limit is 9 hours. The marathon course allows crew access at the halfway point and permits a drop bag.

Post-race provisions include beverages and warm food. Proceeds benefit Dauset Trails.
