Event details

The Sparrow is scheduled for February 7, 2026 in Griffin, GA at 287 Jordan Hill Rd. The event features two timed races: a 6 hour race and a 3 hour race. The race uses a loop format and the organizers have moved the event to Griffin to place the course around a lake. Starts are staggered so the two races finish at the same time.

Course and support

The course is an approximately 2 mile loop of smooth single-track trail that is described as mostly easy and rolling. A central aid station will provide typical ultra food with options for different dietary preferences. Participants may bring their own fuel and hydration and may set up a tent at the aid station area.

Swag, performance thresholds and refunds

All registrants will receive a Sparrow t-shirt; the deadline to be guaranteed a shirt is January 20. Runners who cover over 50K in the 6 hour race or over 25K in the 3 hour race receive a raffle ticket for sponsor prizes. The refund policy allows a 100% refund until three months before the race date; after that no refunds are offered.
