Event Overview

The Bolt at Badminton Estate is a multi-distance running event held on the grounds of the Badminton Estate. The event is organized by the Friends of Trinity C of E Primary School to raise funds for school equipment. The routes consist of a mixture of trails and bridle tracks, designed to accommodate participants who prefer to run, jog, or walk.

Course Details

The event features courses that are marshalled for navigation. The 10 km distance consists of two loops of the 5 km route. A shorter 1.5 km Mini Bolt is also available. Results for the 5 km and 10 km races are recorded using electronic chip timing.

Additional Features

A 5 km Team Challenge is available for groups of four participants. This competition calculates the lowest cumulative completion time for all four runners to determine a winning team. Participants in the team category receive a specific event t-shirt and bag.

The event facilities include a bag drop area and bib collection. Post-race amenities feature a BBQ with hot food, refreshments, and cakes. For families, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, while young children in pushchairs or buggies can participate without an entry fee. An off-road race in Dursley on 25 May 2026 covering about 10.31 km with 318 m of climb, visiting Cam Peak, Cam Long Down, Uley Bury and Downham Hill. Entries are limited to 120 and handled via Entry Central.

Inflatable 5K in Bristol on Saturday 30 May 2026 offers 2.5 km laps with options of 2.5 km, 5 km, 10 km or 15 km across large inflatable obstacles and five music zones. The event is untimed and includes a finisher's medal and water stations..

Approximate 6k through Blaise Castle Estate on tarmac, grass and trails with hills and estate views. Club house refreshments follow and prizes are awarded for individual places, age categories and teams.

A 12-hour backyard ultramarathon at the Bakehouse in Bristol on 6 June 2026 where one lap is run each hour; participants can complete between one and twelve laps and choose from 3 km to 6 km loops, with proceeds supporting Andy's Man Club.
