The Big (Trail) Run, Little Rock

The Big (Trail) Run is a 5K trail event held on June 3, 2026 at War Memorial Golf Course Park in Little Rock, Arkansas. The course is described as a relatively grassy layout with almost no rocks or roots, resembling a cross country style surface with some asphalt sections. The event coincides with Global Running Day and is part of a nationwide Big Run celebration involving Fleet Feet locations.

Trail running shoes are not required, but shoes with good traction are recommended and very worn shoes are not advised for slippery conditions. White shoes are noted as less suitable for this route. Brooks will have trail and road shoes available, and Fleet Feet Little Rock is involved in the event.

Registration carries a fee of $25.00; registration opens March 13, 2026 and closes June 3, 2026. The event is open to runners and walkers of all levels and abilities, and children are invited to participate. One hundred percent of event proceeds are designated for Little Rock Parks and Recreation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
