The Aliza Lapierre Fan Club Trail Race, hosted by the Richmond Trail Running Club in Vermont, is a volunteer-run charity event promoting community and outdoor exploration. The race offers two challenging distances: a 50k covering about 8 miles of road and 23 miles of rugged trails with over 5,000 feet of climbing, and a 26k featuring roughly 3 miles of road and 13 miles of trails with over 2,500 feet of climbing. The courses traverse the towns of Huntington, Starksboro, Hinesburg, and Richmond, finishing at Cochran's Ski and Bike Area. Aid stations provide refreshments every 5-7 miles, supporting runners throughout the event. Profits benefit local youth skiing and snowboarding programs.
