Catamount Weekly Trail Running Race

This event is a weekly trail running series organized by the Catamount Outdoor Family Center in Williston, Vermont. Events take place at 592 Governor Chittenden Rd and include multiple age and distance categories. Races are held rain or shine; if weather causes a cancellation, single night entries can be transferred to another week by emailing the organizer.

The series enforces a thunder policy: thunder between 5:30-5:45 pm triggers a 30 minute delay, and thunder after 5:45 pm or during a race results in cancellation. Race night procedures include bib pickup, visible bibs during the event, and a check-in at the tent for anyone who starts but does not finish. Participants are asked not to reuse single night entry bibs because weekly bibs are reassigned; new bib numbers are distributed each week at check-in. A water refill station is available near the bike wash.

Registration records show adult and youth categories with listed fees for specific distances. Youth entrants must be under 18 or present a valid student ID. Sponsors for the series are listed for the 2026 season.
