The 5K Foam Fest - Wasaga Beach, ON

The 5K Foam Fest is an obstacle course fun run held at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. The event features a 5 km course containing over 25 obstacles, including mud pits, 2.5 million cubic feet of foam, and a large inflatable waterslide. Participants are permitted to complete the course at their own pace, whether walking or running, and all obstacles are optional.

The main event is open to individuals aged 7 and older. Participants between the ages of 7 and 12 must be accompanied on the course by a registered adult. Runners aged 13 to 17 do not require a chaperone but must have a waiver signed by a legal guardian. For children aged 6 and under, a free Kids FUN Zone is available, featuring a mini inflatable obstacle course and a bounce house, requiring adult supervision.

The festival area provides several amenities and activities:

  • Shower stations and changing rooms
  • Water stations along the course

Registration includes a finisher's medal, a string bag, a buff, a temporary tattoo, and a finish line photo. The event partners with Make-A-Wish Canada for fundraising efforts.
