The 5K Foam Fest - Okanagan, BC

The event takes place on June 13, 2026 at Kin Beach and surrounding park lands in Vernon, British Columbia. It is a 5K run that features more than 25 obstacles and a large foam element.

Obstacles include inflatable slides, slip n slides, foam zones and various challenge elements such as log roll, tire hop, cargo climb and wipeout wonderland. Some mud-related obstacles, including the mud crawl and mud pit, are offered only at certain venues. The organizer states that 2.5 million cubic feet of foam are produced for the event.

Included with entry are a string bag, 5K Foam Buff, finishers medal, festival wristband, temporary tattoo and a free low-resolution finish photo. On-site amenities include a Kids Free Fun Zone, water stations, live DJ, food vendors, a licensed beer garden, merch tent, Sky Fall and a rinse station. A gear check is available for a $5 donation.

Spectators are free. There is no on-site parking at Kin Beach; parking is provided off site at Village Green Shopping Centre with shuttles running throughout the day.
