Participants run a 10-kilometer loop through the South Foothills, featuring single track trails, switchbacks, hairpin turns, and technical uphill and downhill sections. The route includes the 365 Trail, Hillsdale Loop, and Trail 401, with natural obstacles like cactus and sheet rock adding to the adventure.

Runners enjoy a "Run to the Sun" climb and finish back at the start. All finishers receive a unique award and a T-shirt, with proceeds supporting the Dukes Track Club youth programs.
