Testway Ultra

Testway Ultra is a trail ultra held from Linkenholt Activity Center in Andover, Hampshire, following the established Testway footpath toward Totton in Southampton. The route runs the length of Hampshire from the Northern Hampshire/Berkshire border to the southern town of Totton.

Distances include:

  • 50 mile Ultra Marathon
  • 40 mile Ultra Marathon

The event uses a fully signed route with high visibility signage on the final section for those still running as light fades. Aid stations are provided approximately every 10 miles and offer a mixture of sweet and savory snacks, water, juice and cola. Marshals are placed at major road crossings and a medical and safety team is present on route.

There is a 14 hour cutoff for the event. Finisher medals are awarded to those who complete the event and prizes are given to the first, second and third male and female finishers. A coach shuttle back to Linkenholt from the finish in Totton is available for an additional £10; the same option applies for participants who withdraw and need transport to the finish. Entry fees are listed as £80 for the 50 mile and £70 for the 40 mile, with an optional £10 shuttle fee. No deferrals are allowed within four weeks of the event. This edition is in its tenth year.
