Tails on Trails 2026

This running and walking event takes place at Bechtel Park in Waterloo, Ontario. It is the event's second year and is held in support of the Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford Perth.

Multiple course options are offered on a 2.5 km loop within the park.

  • 5 km: A timed race, available for solo participants or for a person with a dog.
  • 2.5 km: An untimed run or walk, available for solo participants or for a person with a dog.
  • 200 m: An untimed fun run for dogs and their handlers.

The event includes a fundraising component. Participants who raise $60 or more receive an exclusive event t-shirt. Those who raise $120 or more also receive a swag bag. Several sponsors support the event, including Civilian Screen Printing, AMJ, Lululemon, and Running Room. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
