Tails and Trails 5K

Tails and Trails 5K : Winona Forest, Mannsville NY

Tails and Trails is a 5 km trail run and walk held at the CCC Camp in Winona Forest. The entire course is off pavement and routed on a variety of trails and terrain. The route is described as well marked and maintained, and the trails are not technical.

Registration is limited to 100 participants and is non-refundable. Proceeds support Friends Forever Animal Rescue and a local animal rescue dedicated to helping stray, sick, and abandoned animals in Central and upstate New York.

Participants receive a custom Tails and Trails 5K bib, professional timing and results, and a custom finisher’s tumbler. Awards are given to the top three overall men and women. Post event refreshments include a BBQ with burgers, hot dogs, and assorted items.

Facilities at the venue include porta potties and a place to sit; participants are invited to bring camp chairs for post event use. Friendly, non-aggressive dogs may join if leashed in accordance with New York State DEC rules. Cani cross style running with a dog on a leash is not permitted; handlers bringing dogs are asked to keep to the back of the pack to avoid disrupting other participants.
