Winona Forest's Chase The Day Trail Ultra

Winona Forest's Chase The Day is a multi-hour trail ultra held at the Winona Forest CCC Camp near Mannsville, NY. Participants run repeated laps of a 2.65 mile loop described as well maintained, smooth, and non-technical with no significant elevation gains or descents. Options include multiple timed formats and a team category.

A single manned aid station is located near the start/finish area and will offer typical ultra nutrition, hot foods at times, and Tailwind electrolyte support. Water coolers will be available on site until the course breakdown. The event is cup free; participants should provide their own bottle or cup. Two portable toilets will be on site. The field is capped at 120 participants. A custom belt buckle is awarded to anyone who completes 100 miles within the 24-hour period.

Camping is allowed around the staging area under the event permit; limited space is available and personal camp fires are not permitted. Parking is free and located close to the route and staging area. Runners may set up a personal aid station near the start/finish; locations are first come, first served. For the 24-hour option, one pacer is permitted after the first half of the 24-hour period. Winners are determined by most laps in the chosen time, with ties broken by faster completion.
