Table Rock Trail Challenge

Table Rock Trail Challenge : Jamesville, NY

Salt City Trail Racing, in partnership with Clark Reservation State Park, presents the 10th annual Table Rock Trail Challenge at 6105 E Seneca Turnpike in Jamesville, NY. The event uses a Last One Standing format on looped trails that showcase the park's geological features, including fossils and the limestone "table rock" formations.

The course configuration:

• Course A (~1.3 miles): crushed gravel, slick table rock, dirt trails with rocks and roots.
• Course B (~1.2 miles): avoids table rock and scramble sections.

Runners complete repeated laps with descending cutoff times. The race begins on Course A for the first ten laps with each successive lap cutoff reduced by 30 seconds. Beginning with Lap 11 the race shifts to Course B; Laps 11 to 16 continue to reduce the clock by 30 seconds per lap. From Lap 17 to Lap 20 the lap clock is set at 12 minutes. Beginning with Lap 21 the Race Director may further reduce cutoffs at their discretion. Rules for deciding a winner follow the Last One Standing format and clarify how finishing within or over cutoffs affects placement.

The event includes a post-race cookout open to racers and volunteers, with spectators able to purchase tickets. This is a rain-or-shine event; cancellations occur only for extreme or severe unsafe weather. Refunds are not granted; one-year deferrals are available for pregnancy, injury, or volunteering, subject to volunteer slot availability.

Registration goes live November 26, 2025. Prices increase after December 1, 2025 and again on January 1, 2026. Registration closes on June 12; registrants after June 4 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
