The 50k course includes 2,345 feet of elevation gain and is described as having the most elevation gain of any Florida 50k. The 10k is a fundraiser for breast cancer and is run in memory of the race director's sister, who died in November 2021 after an eight-year battle with metastatic breast cancer.
