Event overview

Surf Run is a running event on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, set for Sunday, 15 March 2026. The event is based at Port Elliot - Horseshoe Bay, with courses that head in the direction of Goolwa, about 11 km away. Surf Run is also Race #5 of the 2025-26 Summer Series. All distances start and finish at the Port Elliot Caravan Park.

Distances on Sunday:

Saturday events include a 2 km kids race and a short "surf inspired" run of 2-5 km. All Sunday finishers in the 21.1 km, 15 km, 10 km and 5 km events receive a finishers medal. The top three male and female finishers in each Sunday event receive winners' medals.

Entries open on Friday 26 September. Online entries close on Friday 13 March. Early, standard, late and very late pricing tiers are listed by the organiser for each distance. Very late entries may be accepted at the Port Elliot Caravan Park during bib collection.

Bib pick-up and a sponsors expo take place on Saturday 14 March at the Port Elliot Caravan Park; bibs can also be collected on race morning. The organiser notes an abundance of aid stations and public toilets marked on course maps; specific aid station provisions and cut-off times are to be confirmed.
