Sunfish "Sunset" Shuffle

The Sunfish "Sunset" Shuffle takes place on September 26, 2026 at Sunfish Pond County Park in Canton, Pennsylvania. The event is presented to coincide with America's 250th anniversary and includes an evening bonfire with hot dogs roasted over the fire and toasted s'mores.

The event is a lap race that may be walked or run. Each lap measures 1.0 mile and an aid station is available on the course. Participants who complete the most laps within a three hour period are declared the winners. The final hour of the event occurs after dark, so participants are asked to bring a headlamp or flashlight. Packet pickup is available on site.

Registration opens March 28 and closes September 23. The registration fee is $15. All proceeds from the race will go to the Northern Tier Veterans Group, a local nonprofit that provides assistance such as emergency financial support, counseling, medical equipment, support for dependents of deployed veterans, and veteran-related events and activities.
