Summit Showdown

The Summit Showdown takes place in Little Mulberry Park in Dacula, Georgia. Organized by Team Summit, this trail event offers two distinct distances for participants to choose from:

  • 10 Miles: A trail race featuring approximately 1,400 feet of vertical gain.
  • 5K: A trail course with roughly 500 feet of vertical gain.

The 5K route crosses over one of the highest geographical points in Gwinnett County. For those participating in the 10 Mile race, an aid station equipped with bathrooms is located at the 5 mile mark.

The event includes post-race activities where pancakes and coffee are served to participants. Runners who win their respective events receive entry into the Yonah Mountain Vertical Race held in February. Local running club members may be eligible for specific discounts through their club organizers. The event is scheduled for mid-December, utilizing the trail systems within the park.
