Summit 700 Trail Runs, Blue Mountain Ontario

On July 11, 2026, Summit 700 takes place at Blue Mountain Resort, a large mountain village on the Niagara Escarpment with views over Georgian Bay. The event is produced by Contour Adventures Inc. and focuses on trail running across local trails and climbs.

Available distances:

  • 1.5 km kids race
  • 5 km short trail course with ascent
  • 10 km hilly trail course
  • 21 km longer trail route across Blue Mountain
  • 50 km ultra and ultra relay option

Routes include repeated ascents and descents along the escarpment and trail sections that provide scenic vantage points of Georgian Bay. The 50 km ultra was added in 2025 and returns for 2026, with a relay option for teams.

The event lists support from local organizations and commercial partners, including Beaver Valley Outreach, Bruce Trail Conservancy, Columbia Sportswear and others shown by the organizer. A summer trail series in The Blue Mountains with biweekly flagged runs, hikes and walks, season or single event registration. Short and long course options, social meetups, Strava challenges and fundraising for local groups.

A 5 km foam run at Wasaga Beach on July 18 2026 featuring more than 25 obstacles and a large inflatable waterslide. The event includes foam zones, a free Kids Fun Zone, food vendors and a licensed beer garden.

Three trail distances at Devil's Glen on August 22, 2026 range from 16.66 km to 66.6 km, featuring steep climbs, a keyhole crawl and sections on the Bruce Trail. Aid stations are under 10 km apart and a Skeleton Key must be carried.
