There are three water stations on the course, but participants are recommended to carry their own liquids. The use of fully over-ear headphones or two earbuds is not allowed for safety. The trail closes at 11:00 AM.

Bib pick-up is available the day before at Dick Pond Athletics in Hoffman Estates or on the morning of the event at the race site.

Registered participants receive a Leslie Jordan running vest. The event features overall and age group awards. A raffle is held during the race, with prizes including Darn Tough socks. Proceeds benefit the Chicago Area Mountain Bikers (CAMBr), an organization focused on trail maintenance and cycling advocacy.
