Sugg Farm Ultra - Holly Springs, NC (2026)

The 2026 Sugg Farm Ultra, scheduled for September 12, 2026 in Holly Springs, North Carolina, has been cancelled. Registration for the event had been placed on hold before the cancellation.

The planned course used a roughly 5 mile out-and-back loop at Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park. Surfaces listed for the course included mulch, gravel, and singletrack, and the route included some hills. Two aid stations were described: a Start/Finish aid station and a 2.5 mile turnaround aid station. The event was intended to be cupless, so runners were expected to bring their own handhelds, cups, or hydration systems.

Distances offered were:

  • 20 mile : 4 out-and-back laps
  • 40 mile : 8 out-and-back laps
  • 50 mile : 10 out-and-back laps

Other event details that were published included a 12 hour cutoff for each distance, permission for one pacer on the final lap (pacers required registration and a waiver), included event T-shirt and stickers with registration, finisher medals, and awards for the top three male and female finishers in each distance. The course was not USATF certified and distances were noted to register slightly long on many watches. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
