Strongwater's Strides toward Mobility - 5K Fun Run

On May 17, 2026 Strongwater Farm in Tewksbury, MA hosts a 5K Fun Run to raise funds for programs that support clients who live with mobility challenges. Proceeds are intended to support equipment and adaptive riding gear, with examples listed including a Hoyer lift, special saddles, and gait belts.

The 5K course passes through corn fields, woods, and wet trails. The main course is not stroller friendly; a separate, shorter course will be marked for participants who face mobility challenges or who wish to use strollers. Leashed companions are allowed on the route, but personal pets are not permitted on Strongwater Farm property behind the Perley Arena and around the paddock area for the safety of the farm’s horses.

Check-in is at the Perley Arena parking lot. Additional parking is available up Green House Road at the Tewksbury Hospital. Vendors, games, music, and family activities are planned in the outdoor arena while runners use the trails, and visitors may walk through the paddocks to meet some of the horses after the run.

Ticket pricing is listed as USD 28.52. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
