The Stars & Stripes 5K & FUN RUN takes place on April 19, 2026 in Allen, Texas at 1770 N Central Expy, Allen 75013. The event includes the following distances:

  • 5K race
  • 1 mile FUN RUN

Both courses are out and back, described as flat and scenic along the Cottonwood Creek Trail System, with the start and finish located near Bass Pro. Parking is directed to the Bass Pro parking lot.

Packet pick up is scheduled on Tuesday April 14 and Thursday April 16 at the CUTX Event Center, 200 E Stacy Rd #1350, Allen 75002. Day of event packet pick up is at the Cottonwood Creek Trailhead at 1770 N Central Expy N, Allen 75013. A maximum of five packets may be picked up per person.

Awards are given to the top three runners in each age group and include an Allen Americans Hat. The overall male and female age winners receive an Americans Hockey Jersey. Each participant receives a custom race shirt and a finisher's medal.

The event has a weather policy: the start may be delayed by up to one hour, the course may be shortened or altered for safety, and the race may be cancelled if conditions are unsafe.
