Sri Chinmoy Yarra Trail: Half Marathon, 14km & 7km Run

The event is staged from Loys Paddock Reserve on the Main Yarra Trail in Burnley, Melbourne, on Sunday 19 April 2026. Races are held on a scenic, mostly flat to undulating 7 km circuit that runs along the northern and refurbished southern banks of the Yarra River through Burnley and South Yarra.

The course is AA measured, traffic free and marked every kilometre. Drink stations are positioned approximately every 2.5 km and provide electrolyte and water. Chip timing with live online results is used and net time is applied to determine placings. A cut off time of 3 hours applies to all distances.

Runner services at the venue include first aid by St Johns Ambulance, toilets at the start and finish area, and secure bike parking. Race numbers are collected on race morning at the venue. Parking is available on adjacent streets and the venue is close to Burnley Station and tram services on Swan Street.

Entry conditions include automatic 10% concession for U19 and 60 plus, and a specified minimum age by distance with 18 years required for the half marathon and 14 km events and 14 years for the 7 km event.
