Sri Chinmoy Yarra Trail: Half Marathon, 14km & 7km Run
This event is staged from Loys Paddock Reserve on the Main Yarra Trail in Burnley on Sunday 19 April 2026. The course uses a scenic 7 km loop along the northern and recently refurbished southern banks of the Yarra River through Burnley and South Yarra. The loop is described as flat to undulating and is AA measured, traffic free, with distance markers every kilometre.
Race services include chip timing by Tomato Timing with live online results, drink stations approximately every 2.5 km offering electrolyte and water, first aid by St Johns Ambulance, and toilets at the start and finish area. A pancake breakfast is provided at the venue. A cut off time of 3 hours applies to all distances.
Access to the venue is via the bridge over the Monash Freeway at Gibdon Street and the Yarra Trail access road at the start of the CityLink on ramp. Parking is in the adjacent streets of Burnley. Public transport options include Burnley Station and trams on Swan Street, and there is secure bike parking at the venue. Race numbers are collected on race morning at the venue.

Age and awards: medals for first, second and third male and female are presented across age categories from under 15 to 80 plus.
