You Yangs Trail Running Festival
The You Yangs Trail Running Festival is a multi-distance trail event held at You Yangs Regional Park near Little River VIC, located between Melbourne and Geelong. The event uses trails that traverse granite peaks and native bushland, offering sweeping views across Port Phillip Bay and the surrounding plains.
Courses combine flowing forest trails, open rocky mountain tracks and technical sections with steep climbs to notable viewpoints, including a climb to Flinders Peak. The route variety includes fast flat wooded trails, meandering undulations and technical descents, giving runners varied terrain and panoramic 360° views of the western volcanic plains, Geelong and Melbourne.

The festival takes place across two days and features distinct race days for shorter and longer distances. It forms the second event in the Trailsplus Mountain Series. Trailsplus donates one dollar per participant to Canteen, the Australian organisation for young people living with cancer, and has recorded total donations exceeding ninety thousand dollars.
