Lara Fun Run & Walk
The Lara Fun Run & Walk takes place on 6 December 2026 at Serendip Sanctuary on Windermere Road, Lara. The event offers a rare opportunity to run on trails inside Serendip Sanctuary that are normally closed to the public. Routes form a flat, scenic loop that starts and finishes at Pirra Homestead.
Distance options:
- 10km
- 5km
- 1km Kids Dash
The event is described as community focused and nature oriented, with an atmosphere aimed at families and a range of participants. Every participant receives a finisher medal, and personalised race bibs are available for early entries. The event is organised by PB Events and lists local sponsors and support partners.
Facilities and features mentioned include race day photos, published race results, and an official event T shirt offered for purchase. The listing notes that trails provide views of native wildlife and open trails within the sanctuary. The presentation emphasises a relaxed vibe and a community centred race morning in a natural setting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
