Sphinx AC stages a multi-terrain event at Coombe Abbey on the outskirts of Coventry. Two course options are offered:

• 8 mile
• 5 mile (approximately 8 km)

Entries close on 19 November and the event lists a capacity of 400 places; at the time of publication 79 places had been taken, with 65 entries on the 8 mile and 14 on the 5 mile.

Both routes begin with a small loop through the "sheep field" that includes a dip in and out of WWII bomb craters. Runners follow the main drive toward the abbey, pass mini hurdles, cross bridges and enter the woods for a clockwise lap of the main site. The route includes a river crossing, a counter-clockwise section around a large central field, a descent under the Go Ape adventure area, and a return over a wooden bridge. A water station is located before the 5 mile route heads back over the bridges; 8 mile participants complete the central loop once more before rejoining the shorter route. The final section returns toward the visitor centre and finishes after a short out and back.

Race headquarters are outside the main visitor centre at Coombe. A mobile medical crew will be on standby. Drone footage will be captured by Coventry Drone Academy and may be available after the event, weather permitting. Entry fees are fixed at the published rates and include a race memento and hot chocolate at the finish; prizes are awarded to the first three finishers and to age category winners in the 8 mile race.
