San Jose Trail Challenge - Spartan Trail

Sanborn County Park in Saratoga, California hosts a multi-distance trail running event on September 27, 2026. For the 50K distance a 500 ml water carrying vessel is mandatory. Participants must carry out their trash and dispose of it at aid stations; littering can result in disqualification. Bad Bass at Lake Chabot Marina in Castro Valley on July 18, 2026 features a paved 5K, a mixed-surface 10K and a mostly fire-trail half marathon with marked routes and stocked aid stations.

Trail running at Calero County Park with multiple distances across single track and dirt paths, significant climbs, aid stations and free parking at the park.

A historic 50k loop from and back to Lake Chabot Marina in Castro Valley with strong aid station support, a half marathon option, plant-based post-race food, and race swag including a shirt, socks, and medal.

Trail races on hilly mixed dirt and single track at Almaden Quicksilver Park with distances from 5K to 50K, aid stations, drop bag service for longer races, and mandatory course markings and cutoffs.
