2026 Southern Food Series

The Southern Food Series is a collection of in-person running events held at Camp Jekyll on Jekyll Island, Georgia. The series supports the Georgia 4-H Foundation and allows participants to earn points for both the Clover Glove Race Series and the Black Bag Race Series. The event features four distinct races, each named after traditional food items.

The series includes the following events:

  • Shrimp 4K
  • Grits 4K
  • Green Eggs 4K
  • Ham 4K

Participants who pre-register for at least two races by March 23, 2026, receive a collectible shirt and a meal. All events are held on-site at Camp Jekyll, located at 550 South Beachview Drive.

The registration fee is $12.44 per individual race. These events are conducted exclusively in person. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
